Funding available to attend the 2009 GMA Canada Week

We know how expensive it is to travel across the country to attend the GMA Canada Week, and appreciate that many of you cannot attend simply due to finances. We are helping artists with their applications for a couple of programs that are designed to assist artists for events just like this.
If you are interested in showcasing Wednesday night of the GMA Canada Week, or are planning on attending the songwriter sessions at the conference, you will want the details we have about those grants. So, please email us at with “Grants” in the subject line, and we will send you a follow-up email with all of the details. Basically, there are programs designed to assist you to attend events like the songwriter track of the conference, as well as performers who want to showcase at the GMA Canada Showcases on Wed., October 21. You need to be registered for the conference and have a confirmation letter from us that you are a confirmed registrant or showcase artist, so make sure you read and follow all of the details on the follow up email you request from us before applying on your own. Our detail sheet will also have information about how to best apply, what order to do the steps in, and what the granting organizations are looking for.
